Rovers Run Puppies is the preeminent residence of Cavoodles, Spoodles, and Beaglier's
Located in the sublime coastal rural township of Pearcedale our purpose built “doggy home” is perfect for the breeding and caring of our gorgeous dogs and puppies. All of our dogs are loved and cared for, with great interaction from family, staff and other adult dogs. Our large facility gives all our adult dogs and puppies room to roam and socialise. Our staff are certainly fit keeping up with all their playful antics. You will enjoy peace of mind knowing that our Mums, Dads and their beautiful offspring are lavished with love and attention. We breed Cavoodles, Spoodles and Beaglier's.
About our adult dogs
All of our mums and dads are blessed with having massive lush grassed yards 60 -100 metres long where they can run, play and socialise with their friends and our staff all day or just chill in the fresh country air, they are not confined in concrete and mesh pens at all, you will sure to be impressed when you visit us.
Our Mums are approx. 14-18 months of age before we breed with them. Our “Stud Muffins” are a minimum of 12 months and mature before we allow them to strut their stuff to a prospective Mum to be.
All our parents are vet checked and vaccinated annually. Also receiving regular “hair dressing” appointments. Mums do get a little extra attention from the vet and groomers. She is “pre puppy” checked by the vet to ensure she is fit to be mated. She also gets the full “spa day” treatment before and after birth.
About our puppies
Our puppies are born in our specialist purpose-built nursery area. This ensures we can monitor and care for our Mums and their pups 24/7 at this vital time. In our climate controlled nursery no expense has been spared in the care and comfort of our Mums and new-borns.
Our new puppies have early interaction with us hoomans and once they have been weaned from their Mums they graduate to our puppy yards. This area is designed with these little treasures in mind to enjoy the freedom to roam and play with their siblings.
They get to savour the soft lush grassy areas, warm sunshine on their backs, cool shady areas to chillax in, playtime fun with our staff and interactive toys during the day. At night they get to cosy up together in their climate controlled kennel areas dreaming of their very own forever homes.
Before your new furbaby gets to go home all our new pups are vet checked on a regular basis. By six weeks of age they have all been microchipped, wormed regularly and received the age appropriate vaccinations. During their vet checks they are examined for:
- Eyes and ears checked
- Teeth and mouth checked
- Heart and abdomen checked
- Limbs and joints
- Testes in the males
- Checked for hernias and other anomalies
DNA testing
Both parents receive their genetic testing and results are available upon request. Genetic testing is completed with Orivet' s full breed profiles and are breed specific genetic screens for diseases and traits that are relevant to each breed.
Licenses and Governing Bodies
We have fortnightly vet visits where our vet comes to our property to check over all our babies and parents if needed, we also have an annual audit done by our vet to ensure we are compliant with all Victorian licensing laws. Our Domestic Animal Business Source No: BR187269.
